This dissertation has as general objective to analyze the influence of the Fair of Solidarity Economy and Family Agriculture of Araguatins - TO, as a strategy of rural territorial development. The Fair of Solidarity Economy and Family Agriculture in Araguatins - TO was promoted as an alternative for generating jobs, jobs and income, providing social inclusion and local development, through collective work in a self-managed way. The fair in question is based on the solidarity economy, in which it aims to reduce social inequalities, generate jobs and income and is included as public policies for social and productive inclusion, state and municipal. Methodologically, qualitative research was developed, of an exploratory and participatory nature, surrounding itself with bibliographic research to build the abstract categorical basis to support the arguments about the issue, documentary analysis, interviews and questionnaires were used in order to understand how the Fair of Solidarity Economy of Araguatins is a rural development strategy, it was concluded that it provides job and income generation, commercial movement, rural productivity, valorization of land products, quality of life and leisure.
