Resumo: This thesis presents agroecology, from a systemic perspective, as an alternative to the socio-environmental crisis. It seeks to investigate how a university ecosystem can function as a Living lab, capable of contemplating all the stages of a sustainable agri-food chain (production, distribution, commercialization, consumption, and waste composting), identifying its distinctive characteristics and the criteria for the development of this alternative, in order to stimulate the construction of agro-ecological knowledge, as well as for the development of research and social innovations in this field. The main objective is to build an information regime of a campus as a Living lab for agroecological systems. The methodology adopted is developed from the identification and discussion of elements of literature on the Anthropocene, agroecology, social innovation, and information regime, which provided the basis for the development of a research of applied nature, exploratory, with qualitative approach and a case study involving the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. The results present a core of concepts that allow us to dimension the challenges of the Anthropocene and the role of agroecology in facing the environmental and food crises. They ratify the definition of the elements and analytical categories established for the information regime of a university campus as a Living lab for agroecological systems and prove the importance of the establishment of informational devices, of a collaborative network and the sharing of social values for the development of the informational dynamics of these Living labs.
