Based on a literature review related to autism; some approaches in relation to clinical care of this disorder are performed. These aim to demonstrate the efficacy of the psychoanalytical method and praxis by means of the analysis of a five-year old boy. The emotional experiences and the relationship model with the analyst staying, the setting establishment, the therapeutical come and back, the constancy, presence and absence have helped in the development of new relationship, providing him a better interaction with his family and school, and the development of his subjectivation. The infant- psychoanalytical method was adequate to reach this purpose.
