This dissertation aims to evaluate the implantation of the Total Quality Management - TQM in the Serviço de Recursos Humanos - SEREC (Human Resouces Service) of PETROBRAS, using a field research under an historical context as basis. The main question identifield was: Which are the main advantages and difficulties of the Total Quality Management implantation into the SEREC ? In order to help this research, the fundamental concepts on petroleum, natural gas and shale oil production, PETROBRAS main activities and some aspects about its history and origin was covered. The evolution of PETROBRAS human resources' function was studied since its criation until the end of 1995. The basic concepts, aspects and facts envolving the implantation of TQM into the SEREC was covered starting from its implantation of the PETROBRAS holding. Finally, the field research was analysed. |
