Resumo: This study-case concerns the Comercial System of the 'Companhia de Saneamento do Paraná' - Sanepar and consequently it presents organizational alternatives in order to stablish a harmony among the objectives, resurces and the enviroment envolving this system. lhis study-case was developed based on a theoretical model of organizational analysis of Jay R. Galbraith in Organization Design, 1977. Based on a participative diagnostic we tried to reach the objetives following the complet knowledge of the System aspects as: the enviroment circunstances, the nature of tasks, the structure and the process of a decision making. In order to follow the steps mencioned above it was recomended the use of a 'Mix Organizational' which is composed of six basic strate gies that come from the classic administration as well as from the contingentionaljorganic. By the organizational situation found, we concluded that the Comercial System of the Sanepar, presents a confusing administration and very weaken structuraly what doesn't permit good results in managing. lhe person in charge of having the sys tem to work, reports to a planning body which besides its normal activities ;tls also in charge of the direction of the comercial system. lhis situation is directly ponsable for the final necessary results as the eficiency of bothtems within the whole' context, because the main human resurces be creating decisons without the necessary information of the among a structure that makes difficult to achieve the goals. ressys will system The mix recomended has the objective of including a system of bigger capacity of the enviroment work through a strategic administration based on a defined structure created to give right information, strong decisions and to reach the necessary results. This structure has the objective to put the system right under a high-staff and will be consequently free from the Planning area, put ting his authority in the same level of importance of the other great systems in the Company. By this way, it was planned a gerencial actuation much more dinamic and prófessional through a logical, strong and well-known process of decisions making. Doing so, the objective is to reduce significantly the uncertaintys found, which are the strongest cause of delays that ocure in the pro~ess to reach the necessary results. These instruments will certainly offer the facility to reach a good relation in the system interior and this will be directed to the general enviroment giving us the right-way to reach all the objectives which will garantee the success of the managing system.
