Resumo: |
On dealing with experiences concerning technical education in HIGH SCHOOLS and COLLEGES, for a long period, the author of this thesis has been using a peculiar mettodology which consists of captivating the students through original projects, organized according to the specific qualifications of the courses offered, and using technical them as motivating elements so as to promote undertaking parallels to curriculum studies. The subject, pedagogically chosen and planned serves as a stimulus to concentrate the students interests and attention in the solution of socio-economic problems of the country and of mankind in general; objectivating their integration in scientific and technological development, arousing their interests in study and research as well as in the projects achieved by others belonging to similar professions. The project, identified as a bionic or a cybernetic complex has the characteristic of concentrating several disciplines, whose knowledge is fully applied on these opportunities, helping students to well understand the pragmatic sens of the curriculum studies. Acting, in the begining of his career as a selfeducated teacher, mainly oriented by the Educational Psicology of Dewey, the author has improved his methodology applying the studies of Decroly, Kilpatrick, Skinner and Mc Clelland. The introduction of this teaching system led to the creation of a Research Center, well integrated in the school organization being anaged by a responsible teacher and organized as a sector where groups of work dealing with Technical Planning, Development of Activities and Support work close to the achool directory staff. These work groups, above mentioned, are forned by invited teachers with full knowledge in the subjects related to the projects. This sector is to be placed in a well architected room, installed with motivating and didatic auxiliary resourses: it has a small library, a museum, a file, and a technical laboratory joined to a precision shop, and a dark room for photographic documentation services. It is clearly shown that the Research Center is used as a motivation agent, and acts in school promoting deep changes in teaching procedures and consequently in students education. This Center through the dinamics of its activities and methodology is closely directed to the students so as to give them stimulus to join creativity and knowledge so important to their education as well as to the society. Based on the good teaching results obtained from this method, the author of this paper suggests the idea of introducing the research centers or nuclii described, in to other technical schools and Technological Centers. |
