Resumo: |
This research is to prove that a person s alphabetization goes far beyond a classroom and even more than decode written codes. Only this education that educates for life in all its dimensions can create a true citizen. Not in a theoretic process for this person to exercise citizenship later, but through a citizenship which is built in the educational process itself, led through democratic and participatory actions of everyone involved in the formation of society. A citizenship that does not happen by decrees but that means active participation in the course of the country, and why not saying of your own life. It can be capable of leading to the confrontation with real social, political and economic conditions that requests justice and political equity, social and economic. A citizenship goes beyond representative democracy and develops a democracy in which all citizen have voice and time to express their opinion and participate effectively in decision-making. Only this will ensure effective control over the state by the population, to enabling the construction of human and inclusive public policy. This education for citizenship is therefore a for the experience of democracy. An education which is an ethical and political act through active citizenship, where everyone is responsible for everyone. |
