This dissertation is a case study on the inclusion of the Communications Workshop in the Programme Education Station run by the Porto Alegre Metro Company. It encompasses themes of postmodernity and youth, and reflects on the influence of the media, particularly newspapers and internet, and the reach of popular culture on new generations, in particular communications and its technologies, virtualities, behaviour patterns and subjectivity.
