Resumo: This study intends to discuss of the relationships between Emotional Intelligence, Innovation and Leadership in the corporate environment in order to highlight their contributions to organizational results and to the professional and personal development of employees. We sought to highlight the role of creativity in organizations, as creativity precedes innovation and one cannot imagine innovative results without a set of creative processes, considering the different contexts in which it can occur, especially in the circumstances of hierarchical and functional relationships with which the employee lives with and is directly impacted, as well as in labor processes. This is all about exploratory research, based on literature review, questionnaire (quantitative analysis) and interviews (qualitative analysis). This is an exploratory research, based on literature review, questionnaire (quantitative analysis) and interviews (qualitative analysis). The objective of these research instruments was, respectively, to identify the presence (or not) of emotional intelligence among employees of a company, and their valorization by formally constituted leaders. The results obtained confirmed that the majority of the interviewed collaborators do not have a real self-knowledge of their emotions, thus failing to use their emotional intelligence in the best possible way, bringing little contribution in terms of innovation and effective leadership. From the answers raised, it was found that there is a need to deepen the study of self-knowledge and, even, the meaning of each feeling that manifests itself in the employee (insecurity, anguish, fear, anger, happiness, etc.) in a way that provides the improvement of several personal aspects that will reflect in countless moments and roles in life (professional and personal) and that represent greater assertiveness in our choices. This finding indicates the need to invest in the creativity of employees, through training processes and programs aimed at cultural development and dissemination. Creativity is now considered one of the main assets of the new economies, especially the so-called Creative Economy.
