Resumo: The concept of Creative Economy derives from the term Creative Industry and has been discussed in the world as an opportunity for developing countries to thrive in the field of culture, politics and technology. This dissertation presents a research about the events held in Rio de Janeiro that have as theme or in the content of the event the term Creative Economy from January 2014 to June 2017. The theoretical framework presents a review in the literature on the themes: Creative Economy, Events and Triple Propeller and Events. It then identifies the events that contain the term Creative Economy over the last three and a half years from January 2014 to June 2017. It investigates whether these events had among the speakers the integration of the public and private. At the end it suggests an event that unites the public, private and academic sectors with the objective of creating changes in the structures of events, in order to create interaction between sectors
