Resumo: The main objective of this work was to investigate whether the use of learning facilitation, through the realization of meeting groups ⎼ the T-groups ⎼, as a complementary form of teaching practice, help teachers of higher education courses in Design, to promote the autonomy itself, the metacognition and self-regulation of learning, seeking to improve teaching practice. Another objective was to investigate whether the use of learning facilitation, through the realization of meeting groups ⎼ the T-groups can serve as an alternative for continuing education for teachers, with the possibility of promoting behavioral changes that result in the development of skills, abilities and attitudes in teachers. The relevance of testing practices that promote behavior change in teachers is highlighted, given that the current moment we live in the context of the profound changes that the world has experienced in the last 30 years and the rapidity with which these changes occur, we can see the protagonism of the Creative Economy and its workforce, we live in a society that is undergoing a revolution whose need to expand the capacity to learn, unlearn and relearn is increasingly necessary. The work seeks to measure the form and frequency whose teachers seek professional updating and to identify the interest on the subject facilitating learning, in addition to measuring the acceptance of the teachers participating in the meeting group, and the individual perception. The results found show that most teachers seek updating annually and are interested in expanding their knowledge about learning facilitation. And the responses of the T Group participants indicate the group encounter method as an experience of constructive results
