Resumo: |
Companies in the live music and entertainment sectors operate in an environment characterized by high level of uncertainty and risk. This environment has a profound effect in the way these organizations are managed, creating organizational and strategic processes, as well as risk mitigation strategies that are different from any other sectors. Authors such as Saintilan and Schreiber (2018) have identified that organizations that operate in these sectors have certain characteristics that give them a unique nature. This study will analyze these characteristics and investigate how they affect the adaptation capabilities by means of a multiple case study in six companies that produce live music events. This study aims to contribute to the development of a management discipline created specifically for the creative industries, and, consequently, develop management methods that will support the improvement of the industry |
