Resumo: | This study researched the topic Strategic People Management Practices, initially through a theoretical study about referencing authors who lecture on the subject. Empirically, it presents a multiple case study of four companies in the same sector (health insurance providers), dividing them into two groups: Business "not classified as best to work" and companies " classified as best to work" . The study confronts theoretical themes with data collected in the field through semistructured interviews with human resources professionals and documents that were provided by the companies surveyed. It describes the companies' research management practices and conditions of application of the practices. It also analyzes if they can be classified as high performance work systems (HPWS). The survey results demonstrate and allow us to infer, among other findings, that there are no significant differences between the management practices of people adopted the four companies surveyed, and not be able to classify them as high performance. |
