Resumo: | Dental professionals area, with respect to tissue engineering, seek materials that comply with the characteristics of human bone without cost increase and is compatible to increase the tissue support and development when bone defects. Therefore, versou the use of mussel nacre disposal extract Perna for such development with osteoinductive potential. Thus, through study where the aforementioned mussel nacre was particulate, with such a case before the light microscopy assessments; Fluorescence Spectroscopy X-ray energy dispersive; thermogravimetry and differential scanning calorimetry; assessment tests in dry and moist heat; Extraction of the organic content, which was assessed by thin layer chromatography; and spectrophotometry, it was possible to histological analysis. As a result, in vivo, in the dorsal region of sheep, within initial research, we obtained the presence of encapsulated materials, newly formed vessels, allowing neovascularization, presence of inflammation and edema beginning of organized tissue formation and the organization of tissue web, the formation of bone layers differentiating into immature and mature bone. The frameworks developed allying for bone repair, with the organic extract and / or particulate shell of nacre, associated with alginates, glycerol and water, see promissory the use of such material in bone repair and reconstruction, still requiring new future studies. |
