Resumo: | The aim of this work is to analyse the argumentative strategies used by the interviewers in the construction of their questions during interviews on TV. For this, it was analysed three interviews that happened, during the first round of the presidential elections in Brazil, by some programs on the open TV of the country, two newscasts (Jornal Nacional – Rede Globo and SBT Brasil – SBT) and a police program (Brasil Urgente – Rede Bandeirantes). The interviews were recorded entirely from the sites available on the internet. After the recording the transcriptions of these interviews were done. After that, the text analysis began. To explicit the argumentative strategies used by the interviewers, this work based on the concepts of the Argumentation and Rhetoric authors such as Perelman & Olbrechts-Tyteca (2005), Reboul (2004), Abreu (2006 and 2008), Ferreira (2010), Ducrot (1987), Cabral (2010) and Koch (2008). To enrich the theoretical material because of the corpus, information about authors who talk about the interviews on TV, such as Brito (2007) was looked for. Reading the texts very carefully, it was noticed the use of the argumentative strategies and how they are arranged in the questions during the interviews. The analysis of the questions showed that the way a question is constructed and its persuasive strength can differentiate according to the intention of each orator. According to the results, this work could reach the objective of enlarging the speech comprehension and unraveling the tricks used by the orators (interviewers) in the construction of their questions. |
