Resumo: | In activity since June 1992, “Nobeyama Radioheliograph"(NoRH) observe daily maps of the Sun at 17 GHz. These maps reect the structure of the chromosphere and the base of the solar corona. This project's goal is to analyze the physical structure of solar filaments observed at 17 GHz. We intend to analyze to behavior of the solar _laments throughout the cycle of solar activity. A total of 6,619 _laments were identified and analyzed, which had the following characteristics: a) averaged brightness temperatures between 7x103 K and 8; 5x103 K and b) areas limited up to 2 x 104 arsec2. We conclude that as the filaments area grows the average brightness temperature falls, _laments that have larger areas tend to be colder. We have identified a variation in the visible number of filaments correlated with the solar cycle, however, if the number of active regions present on the solar surface is very large, the filaments identifications on 17 GHz maps are compromised. This fact explains the low filament count during the maximum solar activity of cycle 23 (2001-2002), opposing the amounts reported by _laments observations made in Hα. |
