Resumo: | The objective of research was investigate if and how the Education Supervisor of São Paulo’s Public State System may contribute pedagogically with School. The study object is the supervisional action, using three procedures for conducting: documentary research, literature research and action research. The results shows the Supervisor may contribute to the school pedagogically, however this is a small contribution due to lack of necessary conditions for practicing the profession. From the standpoint of legal duties, they hold up under the fiscalization and bureaucratic bias which can be decreased with the use of Information and Communication Tecnology. Regarding the organization of São Paulo State Secretary of Education, it’s structure requires much more than expected. Another aspect is the absence of staff – educational and support – to perform the work in different instances. The technical expertise of this professional training lacks reflective formation, which must be initiated by building a collective subject within the Supervision of Education, its procedures focused on continuing education of professionals of São Paulo State Secretary of Education. In the political dimension of their work, should be focused on the valuation of the individual person, on respecting the rights and duties of each person, that is to say, its performance should be guided in the support and articulation of a collective construction of Pedagogic Motion of School. The Supervisors working in pairs strengthens the educational process in schools and increase the opportunity for dialogue and reflection with the management teams establishing a training process continuous and specifc. The current school, plural, lacks professional who are open to operate in real situations. |
