Resumo: This present research has as the main proposal the evaluation of the strategic outcomes resulting from the formation of an emergent strategy that conditioned the emergence of an integrated logistics in a large organization. This research is justified based on the increasing interest in multidimensional nature of the construct performance and also by the need to understand other effects - other than those intended or planned - of organizational actions. As a way to explore the broader concept of performance in the form of "strategic outcome”,it was decided to study a case in which the effects of the emerging strategy were observed empirically. The emergent strategy concept is classical in the area of studies of strategy and was proposed by Mintzberg (2001, p.28) to describe the strategic phenomenon in which "patterns realized despite, or in the absence of, intentions”. In an ever more competitive environment, the exploration of new acting opportunities strengthens organizations to the extent that offers different challenges, and in the organization under study, the context of demand for their services was in process of change, mainly by emergence of new communication technologies, which privileged the emergence of new strategies. This study was characterized as an exploratory research. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth 4 interviews made directly with managers and employees who participated in the creation and implementation of integrated logistics in the organization under study. In addition was performed an interview with an employee who accompanied the current unfolding of the phenomenon, providing a contemporary view of the strategic outcomes produced by the event studied. Concluded that the observed results are multidimensional in nature. In relation to conceptual aspects of the multidimensional analytical model of organizational performance, were identified the theoretical rational, perceptual and procedural, and economic-financial-market and social in result areas. In relation to the formal aspects, were identified levels of analysis project, process or relationship and organizational. As for the types of data categories were identified primary objective, subjective primary and secondary subjective. Concerning the type of data analysis, data were identified quantitative and qualitative. The survey also allowed us to observe the phenomenon called by some authors "deliberately emerging strategy", and help to understand the relationship of coexistence between a large bureaucratic nature and structure formation of a flexible project, which required the ability to change and organizational learning.
