O tutor protagonista da hospitalidade na educação a distância - EAD

Resumo em Inglês: This research has as general objective to show a strategic strategy of the tutor as protagonist of the hospitality in the current models of distance education (DEC) and, as a specific objective, to highlight its importance in education throughout history. The choice of the qualitative methodology is due to the theme as it is treated here, which in the end is an exploratory research. The selection of the respondents was happen due to the convenience of time and prior knowledge of the subject, even though, there was the concern of electing large public and private universities and with programs of DEC already consolidated. The number of interviewees usually does not exceed ten in this kind of research. Unstructured interviews were applied with DEC professionals, being: five tutors, two teachers and three students from Brazilian universities. For the interviews and subsequent analysis, the following categories were defined: a) the role of this professional with the students, the content manager, the teacher and the coordinator; b) its dimension for education in the 21st century; c) how this can act on different fronts: the student, the content, the teacher and the coordinator; d) if their activity conflicts, complements or excels that of the traditional teacher. The interviews were treated within the technique of content analysis. The results show that the tutor DEC brings together teaching and strategic skills capable of making them protagonists of hospitality in the current Models of Distance Education-DEC.
