Hospitalidade e acolhimento no terceiro setor: educação e trabalho para jovens surdos

Resumo em Inglês: This study aims to understand the functions performed by the third sector in the provision of basic education and vocational to a special group of young deaf people, as well as address other aspects of discussion, as the spaces that can be occupied by the disabled in the labor market , their right to education, work and leisure, focusing a non-governmental organization (ngo), located in são paulo, a provider of basic and vocational education, which serves people of different ages with communication disorders. For a better understanding of the work done by the institution and to corroborate the research objectives, was chosen as the focus of study, the apprentice project, developed by the school, for its relevance in the inclusion of deaf people in the labor market, using the on-site observation of a group consisting of 24 young people who joined the project in august / 2014. This is an exploratory qualitative research in the form of case study and developed from literature. The results show that this organization can be understood as a "place of hospitality", which from the deaf in joining the project apprentice relations are enhanced and its entry into the world of work strengthens and broaden social relationships, causing a sociability in and out of school spaces such as shopping centers considered leisure and sociability of the deaf.
