Resumo: |
The objective of this work is to investigate how the application of co-design, or collaborative design, can encourage Brazilian citizens to engage with democracy in a more direct and participatory way through the creation of laws of popular initiative, Provided for in the Federal Constitution of 1988. Some governmental and non-governmental initiatives in Latin American and European countries have promoted increased civilian legislative participation through the internet, but it is noted that more than digital tools are needed for the effectiveness of e-democracy in the country. The behavior of the new generations points to a new posture of the citizen who is increasingly leaving from just consuming of laws to be a co-creator of the solutions of their problems with the use of the internet and collaborative virtual environments of Web2.0. The characteristics of virtual communities such as Wikipedia, Mozillians and Waze’s Global Champs were analyzed to understand how their concepts and good practices can be interpreted and applied in the creation of participatory and innovative communities in the legislative sphere. |
