Resumo em Inglês: The present study addresses the realities of the regions of high vulnerability in order to analyze emergent design manifestations in the southern zone of Osasco. Through design-based educational research processes, Projetistas Periféricos reconciles practical and theoretical processes that give rise to this research. Methodology and project processes tested in the field were developed through the social project, as well as analysis of the paths and results of practical actions. In addition to design, the present study deals with contents on technology, education and entrepreneurship, these being the guiding fields for the production of modular design teaching in a region of high vulnerability, which in turn culminates in projects of social impact, based on real demands. In this way the study shows the possibilities of application of emergent design in regions of emergency situation.
