The TV goes through a transition from analog to digital. As determined by the standard of the Brazilian Digital Television System, this presupposes Interactivity. This research aims to theoretically investigate premises for an Interactivity model for digital TV (DTV). To this end, through a literature review and case study, this research theoretically investigates the understanding of Interactivity (chapter 01:00:00); evaluates the narrative and the reactive layers of the iDTV Interactivity Model (chapter 02:00:00); examines the narrative and the reactive instances of the Interactive Narratives Interactivity Model (chapter 03:00:00). And, finally, in chapter 04:00:00 formulates a hypothetical model of interactivity for the iDTV. Analyzes its narrative and interactive instances. Presents the metadesign as methodology for Interactivity.
