This research addresses packaging as an area of design, as well as an expansion of the wrapping concept. The act of wrapping in various situations occurs as a function, and presents itself with similarity in the arts. Therefore, for a better understanding of the object, the text presents a dialogue between the areas, highlighting some similarities and differences - to confirm their close relationship - and the importance of wrapping for both. The observation of perceptual experience of the wrapping in design and in the arts contributes to new perspectives and relations between the subject and the object.
