Resumo: |
The purpose of this study uses the arguments of Jacques Rancière in dialogue with texts by other theorists to question the idea of realism / naturalism, having as object the novel LuziaMan, of Domingos Olímpio, in order to read this novel in the perspective of rupture. According to Rancière, the notion of art that we have today was born in the nineteenth century in the transition from romanticism to realism and is being threatened by change or even cease to exist based on the same principles previously used. By observing the novels of the second half of the nineteenth century, we chose Luzia-man to be read from the perspective of deconstruction proposed by Rancière (2005), which rejects the myth told by the theorists: the arts were born in the Renaissance with the perspective and ended at Vanguard which destroys figurative art. |
