Cinema and Comics are both contemporary visual languages. Their origins and development are continuosly linked together, inter-related, influencing - one each other – the course of its evolution in the art of create an own language. The Hollywoodian cinema has its Mark impressed in the cinema evolution history, and his techniques and innovation – even most of them leaded by commecial interests more than artistic inspiration – helped a lot to bring cinema to its actual situation. The american comic books – so recent in entertainment industry as cinema – start your path in adventure and fiction, narrowing in genre untill became synonimous of super-heroes, with his greatest icon – the first super-hero ever: “Superman”. Here, we observe the facts that lead the history of Hollywood cinema and american super-heroes comic books, including their mutual influences, untill came to the actual stage of interconnection through sucessful adaptations of super-heroes to the big screen |
