Tóm tắt: | The Professional Technical Internship (ETP) is an opportunity to improve and practice all the knowledge acquired during the Veterinary Medicine degree. The ETP was carried out in the area of nutrition, reproduction and health of dairy cattle, under the academic guidance of Prof. Dr. Ricardo Zanella. The ETP was carried out at the company SerVet Consultoria em Bovinos, starting on August 1, 2023 and ending on October 20, 2023, totaling 472 hours. Through the ETP, it was possible to experience the field routine in dairy farming, assisting veterinarians in reproductive, health and nutritional management. Therefore, this report includes a description of the internship location, the general activities carried out and the pathologies monitored during this period, all focused on animal reproduction, presented in table format for a better understanding. In addition, an assessment of the impact of reproductive visits every 28 days will be reported on the average days in lactation (DEL) of pregnancy, on the average DEL of the first artificial insemination (AI), on the average DEL at the beginning of the TAI protocol, in the interval between reinseminations, the projected calving interval (IEP), the average lactation period and the projected average DEL of the herd. Finally, the Professional Technical Internship was fundamental for professional and personal maturity, through the opportunity to experience experiences in the field, interact with different people, as well as follow specialized sectors and professionals, thus enriching professional and personal training. |
