Summary: | This report was carried out in an agribusiness in the northeast of Rio Grande do Sul in order to correlate theoretical and practical academic learning. The internship was carried out from July 11th to October 27th, 2023, totaling 528 hours, in which it was possible to monitor different sectors of the industry such as daily production control of water flow per chicken, surgical performance test, Kaizen improvement project of manual breast treadmill in the cutting room, bird stunning testing and monitoring of broiler condemnations and their main causes and opportunities. Carrying out the internship was essential for learning how a slaughterhouse works, as well as the importance of each sector, such as production, productivity and quality control, which are the three pillars for the industry to produce with quality and meet the requirements and standards. of each country for export, and also for the domestic market. The opportunity to experience the niche of activity in various areas and to understand the importance of the veterinarian's work both in the Federal Inspection Service, quality control and several other areas that the industry provides for veterinarians. |
