Crynodeb: | Urban Solid Waste Management (MSW) has taken a prominent place among environmental issues not only for public administrations, but also for society as a whole. With population growth added to the constant increase in consumption patterns, the consequence is that the generation of waste presents significant growth, requiring the search for efficient solutions regarding its collection, disposal, treatment and destination. The economic and social development of the country is essential and guaranteed by law, but it must be combined with environmental responsibility, being an important part that municipalities and mainly large urban centers have had difficulty in carrying out. This includes the reuse of urban solid waste generated in their territories, where often significant amounts of reusable waste go to landfills, or rather, should have this final destination in compliance with current legislation, as any other means of final disposal it's irregular. Within this issue of waste reuse, this work aims to analyze the proposal for the implementation of a conventional sorting center in a company in the urban solid waste collection sector, focusing on improving efficiency in the stages of reuse and recycling of waste generated. in the municipalities. |
