Ամփոփում: | This Work of Conclusion of Course is anchored in two sources of Literature and the cinema to debate the representations about the love relationship of Lotta de Macedo Soares and Elizabeth Bishop, between the years of 1951 and 1967. These two women, autodidact Brazilian architect and poet are the protagonists of the book Flores Raras y Banalíssimas by Carmen L. Oliveira and the film Flores Raras, directed by Bruno Barreto. Developed in three chapters, the first one provides the justifications for the use of the sources by the bias of Cultural History, the second works with the contextualisation of the environment in which the couple lived and the last one brings the analysis of how the two characters were portrayed and their life in common in literature and cinema. Considering the advantages of the artistic expressions, we point out the visibility given to the affective relationships between lesbian women, while, as a counterpart or due to the inherent limits of each representation, we show that the film narrative made the two women, made characters, simpler and less interesting than they were. |
