Riassunto: | Gervásio Annes was a very versatile actor: he played, at the same time, the roles of the politician, journalist, lawyer, trader. To know his public life offers a not yet explored view of the Power net in Passo Fundo and in the state as well, besides the use of new mechanisms like the press in the consolidation of an ideology and an elite in a preponderant position. The press that was just born in several cities of Rio Grande do Sul, urged by the political planning of the local Republican Party (PRR). Otherwise, the brazilian republicanism whit its slopes: the liberal and the one whit positivist inspiration is the scene behind the regional and local analysis of the simbolic consolidation of the castilhism, supported and fed by the pens, press and pages of the newspapers |
