Shrnutí: The present study aims to identify the role of the Family Grant Program in the affirmation of gender, as well as the social impact that the program has on the lives of women beneficiaries. In a constitutional dimension, it was tried to discuss if the Bolsa Família is capable of effecting rights and empowering its beneficiaries. For the time being, in the current scenario that involves the situation of the program and its beneficiaries, it remains clear that the Bolsa Família Program is a public policy capable of implementing the concept of human dignity in light of the 1988 Federal Constitution, as well as guaranteeing access to rights However, it is still not possible to envisage a real empowerment of the beneficiary women, that is, it was identified in the present study that the Bolsa Família is a mechanism that generates rights, capable of providing women with a certain autonomy and breaking With the culture of resignation.
