The general objective of this work is to verify the effect of the pedagogical intervention on the learning of Pretérito Perfecto Simple and Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto for high school students in Spanish. To this end, its specific objectives are: i) to develop and apply the analysis instruments: pre-test and immediate post-test; ii) plan and apply the pedagogical intervention to help students understand the use of verbs in Pretérito Simple and Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto in Spanish; and iii) analyze the results obtained from theoretical references based on Form-Focused Instruction. Therefore, the theory is anchored in Long (1991), Spada (1997), Ellis (2005), Sharwood Smith (1994), Schmidt (1990) and Krashen (1985), and aims to focus on the content being studied and the meaning it has for the student. The study is justified because, in Spanish, verbs in the past are used in two ways and, therefore, these two possibilities can cause doubts for students: one is used in the same way in Portuguese, it is the Past Tense Perfecto Simple or also called Indefinite; the other is formed by the verb haber plus participle of the main verb, this is the Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto. The results showed that students found it easier to develop controlled, multiple-choice activities than free activities in which they needed to conjugate the verb appropriately in each sentence, since in the controlled activity students got more correct answers compared to the free activity. both in the pre-test and post-test. Regarding the intervention, it was found to be beneficial, as in the controlled pre-test activity the students achieved 35.38% correct answers, while in the free activity the students obtained 11.24% correct answers; on the other hand, in the controlled post-test activity, the percentage of correct answers was 51.92% and in the free activity, it was 16.86%. Finally, it is important to emphasize that it is still important to continue studying foreign language teaching and learning to improve your teaching. |

Finally, it is important to emphasize that it is still important to continue studying foreign language teaching and learning to improve your teaching.Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nível Superior - CAPESA pesquisa possui como tema a aprendizagem e os usos dos verbos no Pretérito Perfecto Simple e no Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto do espanhol, a partir de uma intervenção pedagógica, tendo como base a Instrução com Foco na Forma, realizada com alunos da 2ª série do Ensino Médio na disciplina de Língua Espanhola. Este trabalho possui como objetivo geral verificar o efeito da intervenção pedagógica para a aprendizagem do Pretérito Perfecto Simple e do Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto para alunos do Ensino Médio em espanhol. Para tanto, tem como objetivos específicos: i) elaborar e aplicar os instrumentos de análise: pré-teste e pós-teste imediato; ii) planejar e aplicar a intervenção pedagógica para auxiliar os alunos no entendimento do uso dos verbos no Pretérito Simple e no Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto em espanhol; e iii) analisar os resultados obtidos a partir dos referenciais teóricos com base na Instrução com Foco na Forma. Diante disso, a teoria é ancorada em Long (1991), Spada (1997), Ellis (2005), Sharwood Smith (1994), Schmidt (1990) e Krashen (1985), e tem como objetivo focar no conteúdo que está sendo estudado e no sentido que possui para o aluno. O estudo justifica-se porque, em Língua Espanhola, os verbos no passado são usados de duas formas e, por isso, essas duas possibilidades podem causar dúvidas para os alunos: uma é empregada da mesma maneira na Língua Portuguesa, trata-se do Pretérito Perfecto Simple ou também chamado de Indefinido; a outra é formada pelo verbo haber mais particípio do verbo principal, trata-se do Pretérito Perfecto Compuesto. Os resultados apontaram que os alunos obtiveram mais facilidade em desenvolver atividades controladas, de múltipla escolha, do que as atividades livres em que precisavam conjugar o verbo de forma adequada em cada oração, visto que na atividade controlada os alunos acertaram mais em relação à atividade livre tanto no pré-teste como no pós-teste. Em relação à intervenção, constatou-se que foi benéfica, pois na atividade controlada do pré-teste os alunos atingiram 35,38% de acertos, já na atividade livre os alunos obtiveram 11,24% de acertos; por outro lado, na atividade controlada do pós-teste, o percentual de acertos foi de 51,92% e na atividade livre, foi de 16,86%.
