Sumari: This work presents an analysis of the work Cova 312 due to its investigative and literary characteristics, aiming to identify and understand how elements of journalistic styles interact concomitantly. The analysis is based on the authors Lage (2020) and Pena (2006), consulted to enable the use of the characteristics of each style elaborated by them, investigative journalism and literary journalism, respectively. The research methodology is content analysis, being framed in the descriptive type. The sample explored is five selected chapters from the book Cova 312, in which excerpts are located that show the presence of the elements of each style. The results provided a broad view of the sampling, with excerpts that show the stages of a journalistic investigation and certify the corpus as such. In relation to literary journalism, it is evident that its greatest contribution is to demonstrate that it is possible to use literary language and still exercise its role as defender of society.
