Resumo: | The growing process of urbanization has ended up interfering in the existing relations between men and natural areas. The remoteness and lack of contact with green spaces have consequences that interfere with the well-being of the population. The benefits provided by these sites, combined with their uses, can delimit a greater bond of appreciation and protection of these spaces of biodiversity. This requires the use of information techniques that identify the real needs and patterns of use of visitors. Thus, the main objective of the thesis was to identify the spatial interactions that the natural landscape exerts on the perspective of the Brazilian population, relating the natural areas and the appreciation of these spaces of biodiversity. The thesis used data from a secondary sample to analyze these characteristics in different spatial levels, through collective and spontaneous participation in a digital tool, which is based on georeferenced information systems for identifying the spaces. The results of the study indicated that respondents chose to frequent urban, rural green spaces and the Brazilian coastal zone due to the presence of nature, well-being, possibility of personal relationships and activities that the sites provide. The green areas surrounding the residences were the most frequented, but the ones that obtained the lowest degree of quality portrayed. Among the activities, the walking was characterized as the main practice performed, at different levels of analysis. This initial recognition, of the form of exploration and characterization of natural areas, allows an understanding of the current and future needs of these spaces, so that they can combine efforts to the practices of protection and planning, in accordance with the existing gaps in practice between men and green areas. |

O distanciamento e a falta de contato com os espaços verdes acarretam consequências que interferem no bem-estar da população. Os benefícios proporcionados por esses locais, aliados aos seus usos, podem delimitar um maior vínculo de apreciação e proteção desses espaços de biodiversidade. Para isso, se faz necessária a utilização de técnicas de informação que identifiquem as necessidades e os padrões reais de uso dos frequentadores. Assim, o objetivo principal da tese é identificar as interações espaciais que a paisagem natural exerce sobre a perspectiva da população brasileira, relacionando as zonas naturais e a apreciação desses espaços de biodiversidade. Utilizaram-se, no estudo, dados de uma amostra para analisar essas características em diferentes níveis espaciais, a partir da participação coletiva e espontânea em uma ferramenta digital, a qual se baseia em sistemas de informação georreferenciados para identificação dos espaços. Os resultados do estudo indicaram que os respondentes optam por frequentar espaços verdes urbanos, rurais e a zona costeira brasileira devido à presença de natureza, bem-estar, possibilidade de relações pessoais e atividades que os locais propiciam. As áreas verdes de entorno às residências foram as mais frequentadas, porém, também foram as que registraram menor grau de qualidade retratada. Dentre as atividades, a caminhada se caracterizou como sendo a principal prática realizada, em diferentes níveis de análise.
