Whakarāpopototanga: | This work brings the application of lean production principles in civil construction, among them, the Kanban tool, in a civil work in the mortar sector. Due to the Brazilian economic instability and increased competition, it is of great importance to reduce waste and increase productivity, the objective of the course completion work. The researched literatures involve the concepts of lean production and its tools. The methodological procedure used was of an exploratory nature with a qualitative and quantitative approach. The main wastes evidenced in the sector were in labor resources and in the production and distribution of mortar, the focus of this work. The tools used to apply the Kanban system were: process flowchart, performance measures, value stream mapping, 5W2H. Among the observed results, there are: reduction of 38.46% and 21.42% of steps that did not add value and 43.90% of time, increase of 90.59% in yield and 11.4 units/man. hour. |
