Summary: | The following research seeks to analyze articles from Todateen magazine, a periodical aimed at the female public, checking the existence of journalistic characteristics in its articles. The characteristics in question were established from Nelson Traquina's studies, being the news, the search for truth, objectivity and journalism as a service to the public. These characteristics will be used in this research as categories of analysis. The methodology used consists of the analysis of the selected articles within the proposed characteristics. It is concluded that the articles have the characteristics of news and journalism as a service to the public in focus, while the characteristics of objectivity and search for truth are absent. |
