Summary: The present work seeks to analyze the scheduling of news that portray the blaming of victims in rape cases. For this, two productions of inland vehicles were chosen, Diário da Manhã and Rádio Uirapuru, both from the city of Passo Fundo. As a theoretical basis, the concepts of Maxwell McCombs (2009) and Antônio Hohlfeldt (1997) to contextualize scheduling, as well as Evring Goffman (2006) with the issue of framing the news. The methodology underlying this research is supported by discourse analysis, according to the concept established by Márcia Benetti (2010). With this study we can see that the rape culture is very present in society and is reflected by journalists in the how they schedule news related to cases of this nature. In the analyzed publications, the professional seeks to present in the text a reason for the abuse to have occurred, implying that the fault is of the victim. In addition, it is necessary to disclose information on how victims can report their aggressors, the what to do when this type of violence happens or where to look for help, in order to contribute to more complaints occur, which is not registered in the analyzed texts.
