AS REPRESENTAÇÕES DA GUERRA CIVIL E A CONSTRUÇÃO DA NAÇÃO MOÇAMBICANA NOS ROMANCES DE MIA COUTO (1992 2000)

Zusammenfassung: | This work has as main aims to analyze the reconfiguration of Mozambican national identity after the Civil War, and to show how this new discourse is represented in Mia Couto's novels, namely: A Sleepwalking Land, Under the Frangipani and The Last Flight Of The Flamingo. The purpose is to think how this internal conflict was presented as a divisor of waters while it calls into question concepts of nationality forged by FRELIMO, and establishes an idea of nation aligned with the perspective of cultural difference. Therefore, this study presents some directions related with Mozambican history and literature. The latter is used a source since it is a type of knowledge formed in the imaginary understood as ideas and images of representation that give meaning to the identities. This kind of mental construction allows us a privileged access to the sensibilities of a time, the experiences in life and the constructed discursiveness. They produce significations that allow us to know some society conceptions and different perceptions of historical process. The theoretical structure of this dissertation is base on authors as Homi K. Bhabha, Benedict Anderson, Frantz Fanon, Hannah Arendt among others. Although there is no theoretical and methodological exclusivity, this research adopts the post-colonial perspective and stands out the locus of enunciation of the subaltern subject. That direction is due to comprehension of the importance of a knowledge construction which seeks the deconstruction of the essentialism and criticizes the homogenized conceptions of historical knowledge. |

That direction is due to comprehension of the importance of a knowledge construction which seeks the deconstruction of the essentialism and criticizes the homogenized conceptions of historical knowledge.Este trabalho tem como objetivos centrais analisar a reconfiguração da identidade nacional moçambicana após a guerra civil e mostrar de que forma esse novo discurso é representado nos romances de Mia Couto, nomeadamente: Terra Sonâmbula, A Varanda do Frangipani e O Último Voo do Flamingo. O intuito é analisar de que forma esse conflito interno se apresentou como um divisor de águas ao colocar em questão concepções de nação forjadas pela FRELIMO e ao fundar uma ideia de nação alinhada com a perspectiva da diferença cultural. Para tanto, o estudo apresenta alguns direcionamentos relacionados com a história e a literatura moçambicanas. A literatura é usada como fonte por entender que ela é um tipo de conhecimento social formado no imaginário, compreendido como ideias e imagens de representação que dão significados às identidades. Esse tipo de construção mental possibilita um acesso privilegiado às sensibilidades de um tempo, às experiências vivenciadas e as discursividades construídas. Produz significações que permitem conhecer certas concepções de sociedade e diferentes percepções de processo histórico. A estrutura teórica desta dissertação realizou-se a partir de autores como Homi Bhabha, Benedict Anderson, Stuart Hall, Frantz Fanon, Hana Harendt, dentre outros. Apesar de não haver uma exclusividade teórica metodológica, a pesquisa está alinhada com uma perspectiva pós colonial, que prima pelo lugar de enunciação do sujeito subalterno.
