Sažetak: | This work aims to discuss, understand and interpret processes and subjects involved in the health, and sickness of Akwẽ Xerente. Taking as a basis the “haze” category used by the group to designate a series of symptoms, discomforts and pains that a Xerente can feel is observed its ability to integrate narratives and experiences of sickness beyond the biomedical perspective. I work the diversity of subjects and therapeutic itineraries used by the group to alleviate and solve their discomforts, pains, sickness and afflictions. In this context, the narratives of patients and health professionals serves as the means of assessing the public health service that is offered to the group. |
