總結: | The objective of this work is to analyze the causes of deforestation of the vegetation cover of the Cerrado fragment in the Municipality of Formiga - MG, trying to show the main factors of this devastation. In the Brazilian Cerrado are found several plant species of significant medicinal power. Thus, it is worth mentioning the justification of this research that seeks to rescue the popular use of Cerrado plants as natural remedies. Therefore, it is extremely important for the local population to recover this knowledge. The fires caused by human beings cause the total loss of species, in addition to contributing to the erosion of the region's soils. Despite the strong lack of characterization that the Cerrado has suffered, there are still some places, such as in the studied areas, in which the traditional knowledge of the medicinal use of plants finds conditions of manifestation. Medicinal plants symbolize safety for the community, in contrast to synthetic allopathic medicines. As a result, it is possible to highlight the visible loss of the native vegetation cover of the Cerrado. However, its use for this purpose requires a series of precautions and measures aimed at its sustainable development, without depleting the natural resources, so abundant in this region. There is a need to preserve and conserve an area of cerrado fragment in an urban area in the Municipality of Formiga - MG, demonstrating the rich biodiversity in endemic plant species that exist in the place. Simple and effective actions can achieve conservation of the place, through environmental education. |
