要約: |
The aim of this monography is to discuss some of the connections between logic and language. In chapter 1, we present the language of Propositional Logic, its properties, connectives and show at least one advantage of formalization over ordinary language. In chapter 2, we discuss the paper “Theory of Conditionals" by Robert Stalnaker. In this paper he proposes a new connective, the conditional corner (>) which tries to describe the concept of conditionality, present in the ordinary language, with the expression “if-then”. At last, we present a short discussion on the counterfactual conditional, the ones that makeassertions about non-actual situations. |
