Resumo: | With the Deafness and Hearing Disability workshop, we aim to synthesize, in a pedagogical way, laws, methodologies and learning practices for the educational development of children and adolescents. Given the dimension of the proposal, the workshop can - and should - be recognized as suitable for other spaces, not just classrooms, given that people with disabilities transit through other spaces and social institutions, in addition to the labor market. To this end, the workshop seeks to provide a space for continued learning in which education professionals feel safe in working with students who need specialized educational assistance. In order to conceptualize deafness and hearing impairment, throughout the chapter, we point to the historicization of the process of recognition of disabilities and the inclusion of people with disabilities in the educational environment. |
