Streszczenie: | Down syndrome (DS) is one of the most well-known deficiencies in the world. Commonly, people with Down Syndrome have similar characteristics, the most common being the same physiognomy: eyes pulled, neck short and, in some cases, may be overweight. In this chapter, it is intended to explain, in general, what Down Syndrome is or, scientifically, Trisomy 21; its causes, that is, how the genetic error occurs in the formation process of the person with DS. And yet, it will be presented what are the most common physical characteristics of people with down syndrome. |
