Tóm tắt: | Studying the influence of the territorial displacement of riverside families in their social and economic aspects of the Vila Nova de Teotônio community, was instigating, considering that the implementation of the Santo Antônio Hydroelectric Power Plant, as well as the construction of large enterprises, allows studying its impacts from different perspectives. We know that one of the permanent concerns that motivate scientific research is of a practical nature, especially with regard to knowing the facts, events and phenomena, in order to try to establish a forecast of the direction of the events that surround man, in the perspective of changing it. them. With this change, man can improve his position in the world and create better conditions for human life. Researching the effects resulting from the territorial change of the community object of this study is an important field of research, considering that displaced families had their livelihoods and socioeconomic dynamics altered, providing the possibility of analyzing social and economic liabilities. The community added characteristics of traditional Amazonian populations, such as fishing and planting in the floodplain for their livelihood. Due to the relocation, it was found to be opportune to present a reflection on the incorporation of practices aimed at the interaction of social actors and the promotion of development in the new territory. The choice to research the relocation of the Vila Nova de Teotônio community was made initially by working for more than ten and two years as an education professional in the State of Rondônia, initially working as a teacher and later expanding activities as a course manager. This experience enabled the development of technical, educational and mainly social works in the various communities that were relocated from their former territories to resettlements that accommodated families that were impacted by the construction of the Santo Antônio and Jirau Hydroelectric Plants in Porto Velho, arousing a significant interest in understand the social, economic and educational situation in the community. With that, we give ourselves to this task with greater pleasure. Greater pleasure than simply writing or producing scientific texts, without minimizing these other activities, but being able to contribute to society and the academic community. It is believed that success is related to the commitment and experiences developed throughout life, which equips us and heightens the desire to know the changes that the new environment has brought to the community. Thus, it was intended to better understand the behaviors, experiences, feelings of the various actors involved with this approach and how the change affected the study participants. The study allowed to provide, even, bases for the understanding of how the actions related to the communities are being developed in the region; and also, if they contribute to the production of training and information, in the sense that, if there are failures in the process, they can be revised, if necessary, in new resettlements in the Amazon. With this, it is possible to perceive the importance of studies that address the impacts on the riverside communities affected by the reservoirs of the power generating plants, leading us to an understanding of this theme, which have become, more and more, a matter of concern for society , since it is a matter for everyone. Therefore, it was intended with the present study to contribute to the development of the community, object of the present research, as well as communities from other places that have gone through the same experiences, and even for future constructions. |

Sabemos que uma das preocupações permanentes que motivam a pesquisa científica é de caráter prático, sobretudo no que diz respeito a conhecer os fatos, os acontecimentos e fenômenos, para tentar estabelecer uma previsão do rumo dos eventos que cercam o homem, na perspectiva de modificá-los. Com essa modificação, o homem pode melhorar sua posição em face ao mundo e criar condições melhores para a vida humana. Pesquisar os efeitos decorrentes da mudança territorial da comunidade objeto do presente estudo é um importante campo de pesquisa, considerando-se que as famílias deslocadas tiveram seus meios de subsistência e dinâmica socioeconômica alterados, proporcionando a possibilidade de análise de passivos sociais e econômicos. A comunidade agregava características de populações tradicionais da Amazônia, como pescar e plantar na várzea para o seu sustento. Em razão do remanejamento, verificou-se ser oportuno apresentar reflexão sobre a incorporações de práticas voltadas para a interação de atores sociais e a promoção do desenvolvimento no novo território. A escolha por pesquisar o remanejamento da comunidade da Vila Nova de Teotônio, deu-se inicialmente por trabalhar a mais de dez e dois anos como profissional da educação no Estado de Rondônia, atuando inicialmente como docente e posteriormente ampliando as atividades como gestor de cursos. Esta vivência possibilitou o desenvolvimento de trabalhos técnicos, educativos e principalmente sociais nas diversas comunidades que foram remanejadas de seus antigos territórios para reassentamentos que acomodaram famílias que foram impactadas pela construção das Usinas Hidrelétricas de Santo Antônio e Jirau em Porto Velho, despertando um interesse significativo por compreender a situação social, econômica e educacional na comunidade. Com isso, nos entregamos a essa tarefa com maior prazer. Prazer maior do que simplesmente, escrever ou produzir textos científicos, sem minimizar estas outras atividades, mas poder contribuir com a sociedade e comunidade acadêmica. Acredita-se que sucesso está relacionado ao empenho e às experiências desenvolvidas ao longo da vida, o que nos municia e aguça o desejo de conhecer as mudanças que o novo ambiente trouxe para a comunidade. Pretendeu-se assim, melhor compreender os comportamentos, as experiências, sentimento dos diversos atores envolvidos com esta abordagem e deque forma a mudança afetou os participantes do estudo. O estudo permitiu fornecer, inclusive, bases para o entendimento de como as ações relacionadas às comunidades estão sendo desenvolvidas na região; e ainda, se estas contribuem para a produção de formação e informação, no sentido de que, se houverem falhas no processo, possam ser revistos, caso necessário, em novos reassentamentos na Amazônia. Com isso, percebe-se a importância de estudos que abordem os impactos nas comunidades ribeirinhas atingidas pelos reservatórios das usinas geradoras de energia, nos levando a uma compreensão sobre esta temática, que têm se tornado, cada vez mais, motivo de preocupação para a sociedade, posto que é um assunto da responsabilidade de todos.
