Résumé: | The present work is the result of reflections on mathematical modeling in Amazonian education carried out within the scope of the Study and Research Group on Mathematical Modeling (Gepemm) at the Federal University of Western Pará (Ufopa). These are, therefore, academic projects that have become real actions in the theoretical and practical field and that, in most of them are part of research for doctoral thesis, master's dissertation and undergraduate course work. It is emphasized, therefore, that this book may be relevant in presenting different perspectives on theories and practices of mathematical modeling that could inspire teachers in the art of teaching science and math in the Amazon. |
