The complexity of social vulnerability permeates the recognition that inequalities present from a gender perspective are influenced and influencing factors (cross perspective) for other social inequalities. Therefore, adopting this perspective as a conceptual framework to analyze social inequalities still appears complex. This article aims to understand the panorama of rural female vulnerability in Brazil between the years 2000 and 2021, based on carrying out a descriptive analysis of the Social Vulnerability Index (SVI), based on data from the Vulnerability Atlas IPEA social network. In general, the results demonstrated the occurrence of significant advances, in the period from 2000 to 2021, related to the reduction in the social vulnerability of rural women. Such advances are noticed, mainly, in SVI Human Capital. Regarding the SVI Work and income, it was noted that the North and Northeast regions still present factors to be developed for the involution of rural female social vulnerability. |
