要約: Analyzes the phenomenon of disinformation based on the treatment of collection of legal documents from the Rede Virtual de Bibliotecas - RVBI. It presents the Decimal Law Classification - CDDir, created by the brazilian Doris de Queiroz Carvalho, a classification system used by many Brazilian legal libraries. Conceptualizes disinformation and issues that affect society such as: presidential elections (USA and Brazil), convid-19 pandemic, United Kingdom’s departure from the European Union, among others. Conducts exploratory research to delve deeper into the topic, using a data collection and analysis procedure, through a bibliographic survey in the Rede Virtual de Bibliotecas, leading to a quantitative analysis of the results. It is observed that the term misinformation does not have its own classification in CDDir, which makes it necessary to update this classification system. It concludes on the concept of disinformation that collides with the issue of freedom of expression because they are antagonistic, wich leads to the proposition of a notation to be used in the classification within freedom of thought and speech.
