Sumari: | The physical spaces of libraries, publics or not, are essential cultural equipment for the dissemination of books, reading, knowledge and the promotion of citizenship. However, many libraries in Brazil, and especially in the Federal District, are instituted by local public managers under pressure from the community. Their buildings don’t attend the minimum requirements of the necessary plan that the activity requires. The proposal of this work is to develop an ideal architectural project for a local Public Library. The site chosen for the implantation of this architectural design is the city of Riacho Fundo I, located in Brasília, Federal District. |

No entanto, muitas bibliotecas no Brasil e em especial no Distrito Federal, são instituídas pelos gestores públicos locais por pressão da comunidade. Suas edificações não atendem aos requisitos mínimos do plano de necessidades que a atividade requer. A proposta deste trabalho é desenvolver um projeto arquitetônico ideal para uma Biblioteca Pública local.
