Resumo: | This paper aims to present a systematic study on death and dying in the hospital context, that is, to demonstrate the effectiveness, the contribution of psychology in the hospital context and also to describe the importance of psychological follow-up to family members and patients in phase. terminals. The literature review, or literature review, was a qualitative analysis of the broad publications concerning the particular area of knowledge. The choice of the theme arose from the need for this understanding to know the importance of addressing the issue of death and how the process of psychological monitoring can help both patients and their families. It is intended to understand which strategies the psychologist can use for patients and families in cases of terminal illnesses.Thus, this monograph shows that the psychologist is a fundamental piece in the hospital context and that his practice can significantly alleviate the suffering that affects patients and their families |

A revisão bibliográfica, ou revisão de literaturas, foi uma análise qualitativa das amplas publicações concernente à determinada área do conhecimento. A escolha da temática surgiu a partir da necessidade desta compreensão em conhecer a importância de ser abordado o assunto morte e como o processo de acompanhamento psicológico pode auxiliar tanto os pacientes como seus familiares. Pretende-se entender quais as estratégias que o psicólogo pode utilizar para os pacientes e familiares nos casos de doenças terminais.
